This will be short and sweet as I’ve just got back from the tennis in New York and it has been a long day, and I didn’t get to see any of the game this afternoon.
Very happy with a point, the Baggies have started the season well, and it sounded like we were under the cosh a fair bit.

The 22-year old’s current deal was set to run out in a year and he has come under a lot of interest this summer, and the club have fielded offers for him.

The budget if not tight has to be managed responsibly with Squad Cost Rules (SCR) coming into effect. Those that bleat about us not spending millions need to remember that our revenues are easily in the lower quartile of the league.

Please click for moreThere hasn’t been an Addicks player that splits opinion for a number of years like Tyreece Campbell does.
Campbell has been at the club since he was 9 and made his debut just over 4 years ago. He tops the appearance list comfortably within the current squad and as we know is favoured by manager Nathan Jones and has featured in every league game this season thus far.

Please click for moreI think I am ununusual in wanting the home nations to join England at major tournament finals, so I found myself drawn to them this weekend where I actually watched a fair few of the qualifiers, and I will be tuning in tomorrow night to watch the Scots take on the Danes to see if they can qualify for their first World Cup since the Krankies were on our screens.
The Irish had a tremenduous result, any football fan unless you were Hungarian had to have enjoyed that on Sunday. I loved seeing Conor Coventry leading the chase of Troy Parrott down the pitch.

Please click for moreDesperate of a little Charlton excitement I mentioned earlier in the week about playing Tyreece Campbell and Kaheim Dixon. I don’t obviously watch them in training and I have never been paid to be a football manager, but I would like to see my team finish a game without me wanting to poke my eyes out with a tooth pick.
There doesn’t seem much rhyme or reason to the sides Jones puts out. Perhaps still trying to find his best team as we head into December, So for Saturday’s cup game why not try a little width. Something a little different.
