We are such a hard watch. There was absolutely nothing praiseworthy about that, and we were second best all over the pitch.
It is like every game is on a loop and we’ve been playing the same match for weeks. We are simply incapable of taking care of ourselves.

Remember, Godden had calcification form on tissue around his knee, this stemming from the original surgery in the summer and still gives him discomfort when he trains. His return has kept getting pushed back.

As of today we have Godden, Burke, Bell and Edwards at various stages of recovery. Ramsey and Lloyd Jones have had an illness, likely the same and had to isolate before playing under the weather on Saturday.

Today Nathan Jones said that Edwards’ ankle damage is going to mean he “will probably be out a little bit longer than a few weeks.”

33 years old in a few weeks, Coventry striker Matt Godden has signed a two-year contract with a club option of a further year. He passed a medical today and is expected to be unveiled tomorrow.
