This time last year
A year ago tonight the roof came off the Covered End. By common agreement The Valley was one of the loudest, if not the loudest it had ever been, and on 81 minutes the wonderful old place exploded.
Godden again, ole ole.
At the end I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and jubilation, but those last 10 minutes were magical.
It has been quite the journey. COYR

On another tact……I had the pleasure to watch out U18 team beat
Wigan in final of the Professional Development League National Final at The Valley last evening and Jason has put together a very impressive squad who hold a bright future ahead.

Now all we need is a hatrick…..women being promoted to WSL next Saturday……I encourage all fans to attend and let’s hope we can do it !!!!……if so not a bad season me thinks 🤔

Godden now he s a fine striker and I hope he stays at the club in some way . I to was at the game last night Burnham, Macmillan and Richmond played exceptionally well as did the whole team but what a team JP has put together bright things are on the horizon COYR
