Sandgaard appoints Peter Storrie as CEO

That wily old fox Thomas Sandgaard has been saying for years how he has NO need to appoint someone to provide senior leadership at The Valley, and manage the day to day running of the business. You know it’s not important to have someone experienced and knowledgeable to fill this role.

Hang on everyone. Thomas’ lips moved.

I wrote about Peter Storrie the other day, and today Sandgaard confirmed his consultancy role as new club CEO.

On social media Pompey fans were quick to send their condolences, Storrie was responsible for three disastrous takeovers of the club eventually leading them into administration. “Delighted” Charlton’s official announcement wrote.

More importantly immediately is that Dean Holden has a new boss. Let’s see how that works out.

His appointment is very very concerning given his past record….how can he take up a role where he has a proven record of failures…at West Ham he demonstrated he was not an asset in any way.
He could be responsible for Holden leaving us and I suspect Holden will be fully aware of his failures.

Much as we are concerned the way our club is being run, I feel sure fans will want to send condolences to Thomas and his family at the passing of his mother very recently.
Maybe his decision making has been affected by his sad news?

All I want to know is, who keeps recommending these charlatans & failures to Sangaard? As I’m sure as eggs are eggs, Sangaard wouldn’t have had any idea or previously heard of any of these people before, as never prior being actively involved in any English Football, before buying into Charlton! A certain Teflon Mr Gallen maybe?

    Danny, surely tongue in cheek.
Although Murray presided over our golden era, he arguably started the rot to where we are now when he sold to Slater and Jiminez, having run the club into a real financial mess.
It’s been all downhill since then.

The only thing that cheers me up is the folk at CAST. Have you read their FAQs page about ownership of the club? So when this charlatan takes us into administration its not the end of the world – in fact i would welcome it. At least then we would potentially have some say and could keep this procession of morons as far away from our club as possible.
Further comment from notts county fan – honest as the day is long – think arctic circle 21 december.

    • LP – I think CAST have done a sterling job throughout the last few dodgy owners. If only more fans became members. It only costs £5.
