Getting high

Colorado bound and I will be as high as 5,500 feet tonight in the arty district of downtown Denver. Sunday dinner with a client, then a little bit of a lie in before a couple hours drive up the Rocky Mountains to Beaver Creek, which sits at 11,000 feet to embark on a week of skiing work.

Colorado along with Washington were the first two American states to legalize cannabis in 2012. 9 other states have since legalized the use of cannabis including the birthplace of this Blog, Illinois. 15 other states have decriminalized, which refers to the policy of reduced penalties for cannabis offenses, typically involving a civil penalty for possession of small amounts instead of criminal prosecution or the threat of arrest. Bermuda decriminalized marijuana in 2017 and allows for medical use

I’m neutral on the subject, although I have to say that when I was in San Francisco last November the city stank. The clean air of Colorado will probably make it less of an intrusion to my nostrils. Anyway, suffice to say I will be as clean living as a pig, and there is work to be done.

    • There isn’t one. It’s about a random thought surrounding a journey to Denver whilst sat in an airport. I’ve had a lot of these random thoughts in the last 16 years of writing this Blog.
