I’m a little bit late with this but wanted to expose it to a wider audience and add my kudos. I have been a big advocate of hitting Roland Duchatelet hard on his own soil and now Addicks have set up a political party to contest local elections in Sint Truiden in October, 2018.

ROT (Roland Out Today) is a group of 12 Addicks, who look prepped, organized and well funded. Charlton protestors have made some good allies in Sint Truiden and ROT has been a long time in the making and they’ve given themselves plenty of time to gain exposure, traction and most importantly royally piss off the nutty professor. In fact photos of him taken the day he was told of this latest anti-Duchatelet iniative show how unhappy he was (photo).

ROT has already gotten some good media coverage in Belgium and I love this latest fan enterprise. The creativity in the fight to ged rid of Duchatelet has been remarkable, and it is a real shot in the arm of ridding our club of him and Katrien Meire.

I for one will be keeping a close eye on ROT and offering help in anyway.

Absolutely agree and well done for publicising this new venture. It is precisely what is needed and IF talks are ongoing to dispose of the club the spectre of this on the horizon will only help to concentrate his mind.
He don’t like it up ‘im Mr Manwairing…

Mrs Duchatelet: Roland, why don’t you just buy a new pair of shoes, there were some reduced in Clarke’s for £25.
    Roland: Aaarrrrggghhh!!!

A word of caution Chicago Addick. The hatred of Duchatelet and Meire for some supporters clearly holds no bounds. Seemingly then ROT’s attempt to embarrass is designed to quicken any sale process. Beware at a time when we have at last started to get our Charlton back in terms of a manager who is passionate and committed, support staff who are charlton people, JJ and LB, a real effort to recognise the club history and a good playing staff this could easily derail everything. In the time I have supported CAFC ( 40 years) we have had one excellent ownership period under Murray the rest have been dross. A fire sale could leave ourselves with a worse ownership either mad or underfunded! I’m unconvinced by the Aussies. Perhaps a little more caution is required . Be careful what you wish for.

Totally agree about previous owners Honest, and the manager is finally saying absolutely the right things whether you like him or not. But they really have to go. Screw your courage to the sticking place….. Whatever happens we can re-build like other clubs have done/are doing.
