Aaron Henry signs new 2-year contract
19-year old Aaron Henry is the first of the three offered a new contract to take the club up on their proposal. Henry has signed a new two-year deal. The club has a further year option.

Inniss, Morgan, Clare to leave
Charlton have announced their retained list for the next season.
The club have started negotiations with new contract offers to Michael Hector, Aaron Henry and Terell Thomas.
Ryan Inniss, Albie Morgan, Sean Clare, Alex Gilbey, Macauley Bonne and Nathan Harness will all leave after the expiration of their contracts.

A very enjoyable day at The Valley yesterday with my son and a handful of mates. Pre-match I had a couple of beers with Dave, and then outside the ground bumped into fellow Bermuda Addick Matt.
The watching Charlton experience has been turned on it’s head since Christmas with whatever going on off the pitch for once being over-shadowed by what’s happening on it

I imagine those that went tonight would have enjoyed that. I did and I was in Tampa looking at ottomans, armoires and chaise longues, from where I was checking the latest score.
Almost as many QPR fans as Addicks at The Valley tonight, so credit to them. The ones we saw on the train back from Preston were very affable although very disappointed in their first day defeat at Blackburn. I guess we are all a little intrigued to see how Mike Beale does there over there this season.

Always worth celebrating a victory over the auld enemy.
That lot and the Croydon lot may have been schlepping it out to see who was the best runner-up in the competition for South London’s finest on Saturday, but today the Toolbox saw the Red Army invade and come away with a very rare three points.
