Aaron Henry signs new 2-year contract
19-year old Aaron Henry is the first of the three offered a new contract to take the club up on their proposal. Henry has signed a new two-year deal. The club has a further year option.
Michael Hector and Terell Thomas are the other two players thinking through contract offers. Thomas will be travelling to the Fort Lauderdale in Florida to play for Saint Lucia in the CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifiers. If Saint Lucia beat Martinique and then the winners of Suriname or Puerto Rico they qualify for the finals which start on June 26th.
Dean Holden also talked about how he plans to work with each of the players during pre and post season:
“We’re putting plans together now where every player in the squad will have an individual programme at the beginning of pre-season where they are getting constant work from the coaches. I brought Danny Senda up and Danny, myself and Hayesy (Anthony Hayes) will split the group up and rotate it as the season goes on – I’m talking individual personal development programmes about areas they can improve on. That’s technically and tactically. The physical aspect is taken care of by the sports science guys. And I do a lot of work psychologically as well.” (more)

Div 2 standard from what we have seen so far. Hardly likely to shoot us up the league next season.
Hugely underwhelmed.
I think Harvey Kedwell is a real prospect but no mention so far of a contract, will he be with us next season. Henry is a playmaker but not suited to the role of holding player in midfield as the defensive side of his game needs to improve significantly.
