Aneke red card to stand
It wasn’t a surprise was it that Chuks’ ban was not overturned. It rarely happens that a referee admits to a mistake, and it never happens to us.
This despite obvious video evidence that the coming together between him and the Wycombe player was neither violent conduct nor an elbow in the face.
So, Chuks will be unavailable up until the 2nd leg of the play-off’s. Off course in a parallel universe he wouldn’t have even got himself into the argy-bargy anyway in the 94th minute, but sadly he can’t help himself.
Nathan Jones did say this afternoon that Daniel Kanu at least is fit and will travel to Wrexham. We need him, and Kanu will be valuable coming off the bench late in games.
As always Jones was very vague on the injury and knocks front. Despite a romping win, it was a physical encounter and it sounds like a few are being managed carefully, if I have to name them I’d think that would include Lloyd Jones, Luke Berry, Kayne Ramsey, TC and Matt Godden.

How was the red card not overturned with video evidence available ???….crazy and typical of the FA and EFL to duck this critical decision.Chuks was clearly motivated and that’s when he’s dangerous.
Wrexham here we come and Parky must be worried about us as the Wrexham media have gone very anti-Charlton….more motivation for us……I have a dream that could come true after attending our past two Wembley games….fingers,toes,legs,arms crossed !!!
