1,284 Addicks are descending on the north-east of Wales this weekend, many staying over the border in the pretty city of Chester.
I’ve never been the Racecourse Ground, but have just noticed it’s on Mold Road. I had an old girlfriend that lived just outside of Mold (photo), and probably not surprisingly she never introduced me to the qualities of Wrexham, but we did spend a lot of time in Chester.
It’s nerve wracking, but it’s also stimulating that we’ve something to play for at this stage of the season. It has been too long, but the momentum feels good.
The Addicks travelling support has been incredible this season. Eight of the last nine away games have sold out and we’ve averaged close to 1,600 in that time, and that’s only been constricted by ground capacities.
Ignoring all of the noise, Wrexham have come a long way. I forget that they spent 10 years in the Conference/National League. The Racecourse Ground only holds just over 13,000 but plans for expansion have been approved.
Addicks will be situated in the top tier of the Wrexham Lager Stand. Sing loud, Addicks.
Big day also for Malvern Town, unbeaten in last 17 games and one of four teams vying for last two play off Places. Must Win for Charlton and Must win for Malvern Town playing in step 4 football in Southern pitching in league fiv one South . We have the great Ryan Brunt ( Yes know the Andy Hunt rhyme lol ) who scored his first professional goal against Charlton, now at Malvern and making a big impact as a Sub . up The Addicks and Up the Town for tomorrow.

Shocking defending for the goals, and at half time we are 2-0 down we’re being bullied in midfield….NJ needs to change things. TC being marked out the game and booked in his frustration. We need to be much better second half in all departments.

I really do think that we have some good quality players coming through the youth ranks
but today just shows if you invest in a team it pays off
no plan b and I hope we go up through the playoffs but I can’t see it we needed Luke berry today and tc was no where to be seen why not play Gilbert from the start
