Charlton Advisory Board
I thought I’d give this some air.
“Supporters can now vote from a shortlist of five fans who have been selected for election to the club’s new Advisory Board. Two supporters will be voted on to the Charlton Advisory Board ahead of the group’s first meeting later this year.”
From a list of forty, five individuals have been selected to be part of the upcoming fan election to determine the two supporter representatives on the Charlton Advisory Board.
Anyone can vote, although it takes you into the booking sales too, which is odd, but stick with it as it does work.
The five nominees are below with links to their bio’s, and they all sound genuine and caring.
I don’t know any of them personally except Jon is the bloke who always wears shorts, Jade won Supporter of the Year last season, Paddy posts eloquently on Charlton Life, and Lewis is always very listenable on the Charlton Live podcast. I recognize Vicky too from over the years.
The two elected supporters will sit alongside representatives from the club’s Supporters’ Trust, Community Trust and Ex Players’ Association on the inaugural Advisory Board.
Good luck to all, and importantly I hope the club figures a way to use the skill sets that exist within this group, and it becomes a viable long term initiatve and not just another fly-by-night appeasement to the fan base idea that vanishes into thin air.
