Match day prices reduced

Fair play and top work from new Fan’s Advisor Lewis Catt in getting the owner of the football club to listen and study some applicable research on the pricing of tickets at The Valley.

Annoyingly the ridiculous £3 extra on match day stays, which for me personally was the biggest slap in the face, but prices will reduce for next seven games to £25 (zone two) and £30 (zone one) (more)

This is still a results driven business and apathy is encircling the club, so we have to see if attendances increase, but at least it opens a door during a difficult financial period for most families.

A step in right direction and for once Mr & Mrs Sandgaard have listened. A bit late mind you if you bought a season ticket!

A long overdue new membership scheme has also been introduced. Crazy to think no one thought about this in the summer.

Yes generally agreed with comments on Twitter, hopefully we’re not going South this season.

A welcome price reduction but it will take more than that to bring back the crowds.
Exciting, winning football would help ………..
