Make some noise

Looks as if 1,000 Addicks will be allowed into The Valley on Saturday.

Charlton are one of 10 teams that will are be given test case status to house fans this coming weekend, although Luton chose to opt out this afternoon.

The game at The Valley will also be attended by members of the local council and Sports Ground Safety Authority to monitor procedures, with the ambition to admit up to 8,000 fans for home games post October.

Luton gave the reason that they were given no advance warning of the EFL’s decision and you got to think that a lot of logisitics and organization has to quickly come into play…. doesn’t The Valley ticket office close on a Thursday?

CAFC lays out here how they will stream fans from the 3,246 season tickets sold so far. The lower tiers of the Covered End and West Stand will be open, and with all sincerity, credit to staff at the club, already under a lot of pressure, stung into action to provide a plan to get fans into watch the game on Saturday.

Those lucky enough to be chosen, make yourselves heard Addicks 📢

These are the games that have been chosen for this weekend to allow 1,000 fans in stadiums that range in size from Forest Green Rovers to Middlesbrough.

Norwich v Preston
Middlesbrough v Bournemouth
Charlton v Doncaster
Blackpool v Swindon
Shrewsbury v Northampton
Hull v Crewe
Forest Green v Bradford City
Carlisle v Southend
Morecambe v Cambridge
