All blacks
This season’s away kit will be all black. Once again the club have added some 1990’s touches with purple and green accents. Thin green and purple stripes cross the simple shirt horizontally. Then black shorts and socks finish it off.
I do like the simple white badge, Hummel logo and sponsor. Last season’s away white kit was very popular, so it’s a shame that we have moved on from white already, but wearing black away is not unusual for the Addicks. Think of that glorious win at Highbury in 2001. Ahh, that Claus Jenson pearler.
The black will I assume be worn first at Oakwell on August 17th.
As for the scuba blue third kit I can’t see us wearing that other than perhaps at Hull or Luton.
In other news the Covered End has been renamed, er the Covered End. If you were wondering where the Lookman Money went, then look no longer.
