Fresh takeover bid

According to The Standard.
A former banker with experience of top level football has made a £30million bid to Roland Duchatelet to buy the club including The Valley and Sparrows Lane. Proof of funds have been supplied and the bid is lodged and sources say this proposition is much more substantial than the Australian consortium and all the other bids that Lievan de Turck has talked about.
Everton director Keith Harris is one name that instantly comes to mind.
Meanwhile the EFL yesterday declined Duchatelet’s offer to but the club of him as such “an arrangement would be raise a significant conflict of interest and as such is not one that could be considered.” No shit Sherlock.

Blimey we currently have muppet in charge, but if Keith Harris buys us will it be Orvil calling the shots?
Very good Kap.
No point posting and all been said before !!!
Any truth in the rumour that you are the mystery bidder?
CE – I’m more likely to buy them than the EFL 😉
If you haven’t already, read the SLP interview with David White. Sadly, makes sense of what is going on. Very sad. Especially when, as he says, what could be harnessed.
Lewis – yeah, I saw it. It was a very good interview by Rich Cawley. I’ve got a lot of time for David White. He absolutely gets it as an investor, businessman, trustee and fan.
