Bowyer to continue
One of the discussions Roland Duchatelet had at The Valley this week was with Lee Bowyer, and the club have confirmed that Bowyer will continue in his role as caretaker manager until for the foreseeable future.
With the takeover shrouded in mystery and appearing not to happen anytime soon, it is a sensible and obvious approach to allow Bowyer to plan for the forthcoming season. How easy that is with no executive support, a paper thin squad of players, no budget for new ones and threats of more cuts I don’t know. Word is that Duchatelet won’t even sanction the planned pre-season tour.
it’s a mess, but at least it’s a mess with Lee Bowyer at the wheel.

Looks like the money grabbing Belgian git is intent on bleeding the club dry. Maybe he is prepared to write off his remaning investment as retaliation against the fans who have been offending him.
