I felt I needed to sleep on last night’s game.
That wasn’t particuarly successful as I couldn’t get our situation out of my head, plus my alarm went off at 4.30am as I had an early flight to catch. The anxiety is real.

We were excellent last Saturday at home to Birmingham and thoroughly deserved the 3 points. The long Wednesday trip up north to Middlesbrough saw a masterclass defensive performance and we snuffled all 3 points to take home. Today we were poor, and we contributed to a poor match, but still managed to come away with an important point.

Another Scotsman to join the ranks, Docherty played 90 games in the Championship in Hull’s last three seasons and before that was a key figure in Hull’s title winning promotion from League One in the ‘Covid season.’
