Play-off games not on Charlton TV

I have been reading that Charlton TV will not be allowed to televise the play-off’s.

Sky Sports holds exclusive domestic rights for the EFL, including the play-offs, under a five-year deal that started this season running to 2028/29. In addition to that the EFL signed an international rights deal with a variety of overseas TV companies, most you’ve never heard off, to have exclusive access to show games.

Under 18’s fall to Wigan

I was little distracted on Friday by work of all things, so wasn’t able to fully concentrate on the U18 Professional Development League 2 play-off final at The Valley, but it looked as if the best team won.

Congratulations to Wigan, who I have a lot of admiration for and credit to them for keeping their academy intact throughout all of their own traumatic ownership. Jamie Carragher’s son looked impressive at center-half. Likewise Charlie Barker was a class above the majority of others on the pitch.

Not since I was a free and single young man when my brother and I would be chief connoisseurs of Little Chef’s Olympic Breakfasts on the countries motorways have I watched as many Charlton games than I did this past season all courtesy of course to Charlton TV and a global pandemic.
