Rak-Sakyi news
Just to wrap the Jes Rak-Sakyi saga up. He joined Kasimpasa in Turkey just before the Turkish deadline expired on Friday night.
The 23-year old has signed on loan for the season. Following that he will be a free agent.
Kasimpasa play in Turkey’s SuperLiga and finished 13th out of 18 last season and in their 4th league game today, Rak-Sakyi was on the bench.
Playing in Turkey is not new for the winger. He played 13 games for Çaykur Rizespor on loan last season scoring 4 goals.
A £4 million fee was agreed by Palace and Charlton but fell apart in the final week of the English window.
Nothing official was ever given as a reason, understandably, but it was said that the youngster had issues with an old agent demanding a big chunk of the ‘commission’ and his new advisor, believed to involve a family member, disputing this with Charlton in the middle.
A workaround may have been possible as you’d have to think Jes would really wanted to push his move through, but then stories circulated that he had also failed a medical, possibly more than once.
We’ll see how many games and how well he does for Kasimpasa and watch to see if there is any movement in January.

Charlton’s loss, I think. Like you, I feel that he wanted to return to the Valley. We could do with him wide on the right.
A very strange saga, and perhaps more will indeed unfold in January!
What a shame he’s of to turkey, shame on Everyone who wanted to profit on his move to Charlton good luck jrs
