Terry Taylor moves to Northampton on loan

Terry Taylor has gone back to Northampton Town, where he had a very successful loan in the second part of last season.

Terry will spend the season at Sixfields. This is the final year of his Addicks’ contract.

I was under the impression that Taylor was still recovering from injury but I imagine Kevin Nolan wants him part of his squad to be ready to play when he is fully fit, and Charlton’s medical staff have supported that.

Good luck to him. I always felt he was the right signing at the wrong time, but he seemed a nice lad and has kept his nose clean and worked hard but also suffered with untimely injuries.

There is a new body in the building and that is the Jamaican U17 international midfielder Nehmani McNamee-Burke.

The 17-year old was born and raised in Brixton before moving to the Netherlands. He was playing for Dutch side FC Volendam’s youth team last season.

I expect Nehmani McNamee-Burke to play part of our U18’s squad.

I feel sorry for Taylor he’s not a bad player things just haven’t worked out for him at the valley with injuries be sad to see him go even if his name does sound like a 70s player for Chelsea or West Ham good luck to him at Northampton
