Dave Thomson walk

A little plug for Heather Thomson, daughter of Dave/ Drinking During the Game/ Cardinal Sin.

This September Heather is walking the 30 miles of London’s Green Link route from Epping Forest to Peckham and back again with her friend Tom in support of Cancer Research UK.

The route is 15 miles each way and crosses over 5 boroughs and connects over 40 green spaces in the city.

Dave loved a hike especially with his dog. He passed away in November 2023 after a 5-year battle against stage 4 bowel cancer. Heather’s fund raising will help others get the support they need as they go through their cancer journey.

Dave will smiling down on his old patch in SE7 at the moment, probably waving that large fist of his, but the Charlton world is not the same without him.
