Empty seats
It doesn’t look as if we will be getting more tickets, which is quite unfathomable from Wembley and the EFL in so many ways.
Even considering blocks left empty for segregation and corporate junkies there will still be 10,000 seats sat empty on Sunday.
The club’s communication has been a little sparse but they have made it clear that they’ve been knocking on the door for more tickets all week.
Close to 40,000* Addicks will however fill the west end of Wembley, just a few more than there were in the same end in 2019.
In 2019 I got the impression that 39,000 was pretty much top whack, although I did know a few Addicks that didn’t go, but this time around the demand for tickets has been so much greater.
In any event, Sunday afternoon will soon be here, and the weather forecast looks a little better today.
Safe travels everyone, bring your colours, noise and belief. COYR.
*updated.

Having been to both Sunderland Finals, I find myself today still without 2 Tickets. Waiting on a Travel Industry colleague who may know a friend of a friend for Club Wembley Tickets…..otherwise it,s good old Now TV
I hope you get them 🤞
so disappointed could not get tickets for me and my son. Went to both Sunderland games and it seems from the blog that many Charlton ST holders will have non Charlton mates going with them. Shame on you.
Agree Jonathan. Feel for you. The allocation of tickets for big games needs re-looking at.
Thanks Chicago. I realise I am not the only one missing out but it does p..s me off knowing supporters of other teams at will be at Wembley and loads of Charlton fans missing out coz of ST & VG people bring their mates.
They should’ve limited the number of tickets season ticket holders can buy. I’m Valley Gold but it does surprise me how high that is up on the allocation list.
No more tickets per the club.

Mmmmm….20,000 Fans at the Valley so now we have 40,000 tickets sold for Wembley, I wonder what % are really Charlton fans who attend the Valley regularly ?
Corporate allocation strikes again !!!
How can it be right for those at the top of the pecking order to get four or more tickets each. Thus bringing along people who couldn’t tell you what division Charlton play in. Or their mate from the pub, next door neighbour etc. When those lower down the order are punished for being casual Charlton supporters. Often through work commitments or family or even health reasons. I fit in to that grouping and struggled like hell to get two tickets together (for me and son) Luckily I made it, though they’re probably the worst seats in the place.
Some reward for 57 years as a supporter, for many of which I held a season ticket.
There a few of tickets on the Charlton Athletic general chat on Facebook going
Likewise on Charlton Life.
