Exhausted

I was exhausted by the time I went to bed last night. I felt as I had headed every long ball.

Three more days until the next chapter of this season, rest will be key for all of us.

I fly to Bermuda tomorrow for a longstanding engagement and don’t get home until Saturday night, but at least on Thursday evening we are getting the Bermuda Addicks together so we’ll have each other to lean on whilst watching the game in the pub.

I actually got to watch the game yesterday on Charlton TV, which was a very pleasant turn-up, I’m not sure if that was the case for other North American Addicks, but preferable to me than watching it on Sky.

There’s also further news on the ticket front as it sounds as if Wycombe will be returning the majority of their tickets. As of today they had sold 1,200 of their allocation and their ticket office closes at 4pm on Tuesday.

Charlton will then work on splitting the Jimmy Seed Stand and put tickets on sale to home fans, so with segregation that could mean another 1,200 Addicks behind that goal although it doesn’t give the club long to shift them, but they sold 1,000 for the Doncaster game in that end.

The Valley will, as someone once said, ‘bouncing.’

I’ve just watched the Sunderland Coventry game and Coventry deserved to win but one moment changed the game a goal in the dying minutes of extra time I hate the play offs 😂

Coventry can only blame themselves really. So much possession and so many chances squandered in front of goal.
