Kaheim Dixon close
A few weeks back word came out that 19-year old Jamaican international Kaheim Dixon was expected to sign with the Addicks.
Since then he has been training with the team, but the club have been waiting on a work-permit, but it’s understood that has been sorted and Dixon may be announced as early as tomorrow.
Good reports emanate from Sparrows Lane on the youngster, who has 8 Jamaican caps.
Initially Dixon sounded as an U21’s project but it is anticipated that he will become part of Nathan Jones’ squad and play a role as game-changer from the bench (remember Jones doesn’t call them substitutes).
Dixon only had one season in the Jamaican Premier League, and before that he was playing schoolboy football, but obviously Jamaica’s national coach Heimir Hallgrímsson thought he was ready for the bigger stage.
Recently Hallgrímsson resigned and was replaced by Steve McClaren.

Good news…but what I find intriguing and exciting is if mclaren does a Jamaican accent at his presser
Haha. Oh I do hope so. I assume SM will also take his own umbrella ☂️
This is his highlights reel:

The pitches look rough, more like what you’d play rugby on, hopefully on our new Desso grass he’ll be even better.
He hails from Trenchtown in Jamaica.
The birthplace of Bob Marley.
I hope you like Jamming too
