Kaheim Dixon
It’s been very quiet on the transfer front, not even a sniff of a rumour. That was until today.
19-year old Jamaican international Kaheim Dixon is expected to sign with the Addicks. The lightning fast right winger made his Jamaica debut in a Nations League match against the USA in March and has been a regular since playing through their World Cup qualifying and in the recent COPA America finals.
Karoy Anderson featured in those recent Jamaica games too, and may have acted as an influencer.
Dixon plays his football with Arnett Gardens in Kingston and has scored goals at club and national level. A Jamaican newspaper suggested that he was being courted by clubs in Europe and a summer move was on the cards, and it looks as if Charlton have won that race.
Dixon is a random pick but remember Charlton have an arrangement with Jamaican league champions Mount Pleasant. The deal will be subject to a work permit, and it will be interesting to see how Nathan Jones uses him.

One for the future or before?
Something to have come out of the Mount Pleasant tie-up then as I’m sure they’ve seen him play in a lot more than our scouts will have.
