The best haddock & chips
There was a bit of grimacing from some quarters as to how long the recent fans forum minutes took to be published on the club website.
It was 13 days but one has to presume that people are busy and what was delivered was one of the more thorough notes from a CAFC fans forum meeting I had seen.
I have to say that Jim Rodwell and Andy Scott appear very driven to make this whole thing work, on and off the pitch. Obviously I am as skeptical as the next Addick, and I will repeat the mantra of actions not words, but Rodwell and Scott don’t give the impression of individuals that have just landed from Mars as Duchatelet, Meire, Southall and Sandgaard mostly did.
There is a lot more depth to this group’s analysis and planning than we have heard and seen from past owners over a long period of time.
Whilst it was reassuring to know that the car park pot-holes are still being discussed there was a lot more sagacious information shared about the owner group’s motivation plus interesting insight into Dean Holden’s departure, Michael Appleton’s appointment and Anthony Hayes’ future.
Rodwell and Scott came across as understanding of the huge challenge ahead, but excited by it and provided some quite impressive thinking around strategies and a blueprint to simply just being better.
That would be nice wouldn’t it. Give the notes a read if you haven’t seen them already.

Pot Holes what pot holes have never used the car park myself!
CA one question for you as even though your over there, you seem to find out what’s going on before we do, so any news on Captain Kirk, as he appears to be completely out of the picture since Appleton’s appointment, not even been playing in the Under 23’s? Or will we soon be seeing him laying the tarmac in the Car park, once the committe advise they can afford it! 🙂
They beamed him up Scottie 🚀
