John Berylson RIP

Terrible and tragic news coming out of Millwall tonight about their owner John Berylson, who has died suddenly aged 70. My condolences and thoughts go out to his family, friends and everyone connected with Millwall.

Berylson has been a model owner. Sensible, caring, supportive, decisive, he has watched Millwall thrive under his stewardship from when he first got involved with the club in 2006.

Charlton fans could only sit back and admire the way John has led our rivals and he’s been everything our long line of assorted charlatans, liars and egotistical idiots haven’t.

We stand with you tonight Lions’ fans. RIP John.

If only we had an owner of his calibre we might be doing so much better. RIP

Have to agree fully with you CA….put rivalry aside he was an owner with integrity and drive.
His ownership makes us look like a micky mouse club.
My sincere condolences to his family and all his colleagues at Millwall.

Yep, putting aside the rivalry with Millwall this is shocking news. It seems his car overturned in the US. Condolences to his friends and family.

    RIP.

When I was a youngster I lived nearer to Millwall than Charlton and attended the two clubs on alternate weeks. Millwall also had the advantage of floodlights for mid week evenings. So although Charlton are now my No.1 club I don’t have the animosity that some fans do towards Millwall,
In John Berylson they had an owner which we could only admire. Such a sad loss to lose him in tragic circumstances. Sincere condolences to his family and friends and to the Millwall faithful
