The update is no update

The club’s communications team broke from their Jubilee weekend to update fans via the Official Site.
“In an effort to update our fans, while the club remains focused on finding the right manager we are still not at a point where a final decision has been made.” (more)
The club then goes on to have a dig at a local journalist as well as Swindon’s local correspondent, which is all in rather bad taste.
Is this Sandgaard looking for more bargaining power, has he got another candidate tucked up his sleeve or does his ego want to control the message and come out with guitar solo’s blazing to tell us what we’ve known for weeks?
Only Thomas and his wife, oh and probably his son know.

Sky carrying the story. The circus 🎪 is well and truly in town.
Nicely summed up CA….
The burger van was closed in the car park…hope its open Monday with white smoke rising as in Vatican tradition.
A big fat Colorado T Bone would smell good 🥩
Sorted….brown or red sauce ?….medium or rare ?……coffee or tea ?
See you at the van Monday with TS in the queue.
Has to be red 🔴
The first part of the statement says that no decision has been made and the search continues, the last sentence though says the club are limited about can be said at the moment, which suggests a decision has been made.
There’s nothing contradictory in that press release…
SHOULD HAVE BEEN SORTED.
I Thought MR SANDGAARD WAS A BUSINESS MAN.
NOT IMPRESSED
Lets just face it we all know it’s building up to, we can’t find anyone suitable, so MS will be in charge for the foreseeable future, until a suitable candidate can be found!
Mike – can you imagine the meltdown..
Let’s front up..
Mr sandgaard is a business man….NOT a manager, agent, or experienced in English football, and same goes for his family too….He has got involved in Charlton to hopefully make money in future years so let’s hope this mess can be sorted soon.
It can go two ways……
We get a good manager and new players and perform well next season.
Delayed manager appointment….too late to attract quality players, poor start to the season will result in fan protests again….
Chris, must say at this point in time your second option looks odds on favourite.
.
Chicago Addick, I can tell you there’s a lot going with TS moving at pace to sort things out ….expect some good and very positive news in the next week or so…,keep faith in TS he saved the club and is rebuilding!
I’m 100% certain if his commitment
Thank you Martin 🤣🤣
Can’t get the crying ones on here, but love it CA 🙂
Just another quick point, if BG is going to be the new manager and bringing his two sidekicks with him, would that mean Jason Euell would also now be on his way out? Which wouldn’t be good news at all!
Having released Chris Parkes and others from their duties has nobody else at the club whispered in his ear that timing is everything here, That includes sale of season tickets to us doubters, putting together a promotion team, arranging medicals, fitness train and suitable pre-season matches including the likes of Welling the warm up starter. time to extract fingers and let professionals do the job.
Roger,
I fully agree….experienced, loyal and effective staff have been ‘forced out’ by TS and replaced by people who have no clue what to do.
How can you possibly just dump people and have no plan to integrate new staff ?
Chris was a fantastic man told he was sacked !!!
Roger, agree, timing is everything. TS should never have sacked JJ until the new Manager (whoever it was) was fixed up. It might seem cruel to behave that way but that’s how things are in 2022 business.
It’s the American way of management…ruthless and my way or the highway approach.
