Ben Chorley

An interesting development at Swindon Town today. Director of Football Ben Chorley has suddenly resigned.
Chorley originally served as a free-lance recruitment scout before last July moving into the role of director of football at the County Ground the same day that Ben Garner was appointed as manager.
Chorley is a Sidcup lad, and had a playing career that took him from Arsenal’s academy to Wimbledon, MK Dons (who he opted to move to following their relocation), Tranmere, Leyton Orient, Portsmouth and eventually to Bromley where he packed in playing at the age of 35.
Chorley helped Garner build a team that win he joined last summer had just 7 pros on the books.
Swindon chairman Clem Morfuni said that Chorley leaves with immediate effect.
Rich Cawley had already suggested that Garner’s assistant coaches Scott Marshall and Scott Lindsey will also join the Addicks.
Is this all part of Thomas Sandgaard’s jigsaw?
Oh my, oh my, what isn’t he buying from Swindon?

Hi there II did contact you a few years ago to meet up for a Charlton chat. However I wasn’t able to visit Bermuda owing to a hurricane cancelling BA flights from the Uk. I’m now visiting from 2nd June until 15th June so if you would like to meet up for a drink just contact me. Best wishes Roger Pope
Roger, I’ve dropped you an email.
Mmmmmm…..Swindon are known as the Robins too !!!!
“When the red red Robin goes Bob Bob bobbing along………”

Will a deal go through? What issues are there that need resolving. Any thoughts?
