Home draw in the FA Cup

Not a draw we really wanted. Torquay United or Havant & Waterlooville at home in the FA Cup 1st Round. the game to played over the weekend of November 6th.

Havant & Waterlooville managed a last gasp equalizer on Saturday in Devon to draw 2-2 and take The Gulls back to Hampshire on Wednesday.

Addicks would have preferred an away day somewhere local or new and random, but the club’s embarrassing run of cup exits could continue at the hands of either National League side Torquay or National League South’s Havant & Waterlooville in front of a paltry crowd where away fans numbers would probably match ours.

Torquay are one of many former league clubs languishing in the National League and have not had the best of starts to the season. H&W’s start has also been quite mixed in the league below.
