Game off tonight due to Covid outbreak

In the Bristol Rovers’ camp.

“Tuesday’s game against Bristol Rovers at The Valley has been suspended due to an outbreak of Covid-19 at Bristol Rovers, with players and first-team staff required to self-isolate in line with EFL and Government guidance.” (more)

Just 7 hours before kick off, the EFL have suspended both of Rovers’ next two games against us and Oxford United on Saturday due to a Covid outbreak in their squad.

Gutted for those Addicks that were attending tonight, which would have been the last live game for a while as London enters tier 3 at midnight.

The positive is that it gives injured players one less game to miss, and allows Bow and Jacko a full week on the training ground.

Oh well, may have to do some work instead this afternoon 🙄.

Desperately upset CA. I have been beside myself trying to get tickets for any of the games and was so excited. I know its nobody’s fault. And what if its re-arranged when we are still in tier 3? Surely my ticket should entitle me to go to the next game with fans no matter what it is? I was hoping that the Club would let last year’s season ticket holders who hadn’t renewed (for pretty obvious reasons), renew for half a season so we can at least get in the ballot after the full season ticket holders.
I can’t get this injection fast enough. Off to binge-watch ER.

    • Oh no. I’m sorry LP. Gutted for you and the 1,999 others that should have been at the game tonight.

I think your ticket will allow you too see the re-arranged game, but that could be in January and London could still be in tier 3. Agree with your sentiments that in these extraordinary times the tickets sold tonight just go towards the next game that can have supporters.

      Enjoy ER….
