Addicks mobilizing again

There’s been a fair bit of cloak and dagger planning this week as Addicks furiously unsettle and destabilize those pretending to own and care about our football club.

If you are able to I’d recommend getting to The Elephant & Castle Pub in Woolwich Market at 6.30pm tonight to show solidarity and help support action to protect our historic football club from thieves and charlatans.

Details are perhaps purposely sketchy, and I hope this latest Addicks movement becomes more public and inclusive, but I understand there has had to be a lot under the radar action. I do know that a lot of people have been busily collaborating.

One such Addick, Richard Hunt, who was the mastermind behind the advertising campaign to get us back to The Valley has been very much involved and said this today on Charlton Life.

“We have this resource now with a small army of people on the ground, in collaborative units, and contributing from all corners of the globe, because of the atmosphere and spirit you have fostered. I always thought that when the time really came, Charlton Life would step up. That time is now, and I wasn’t wrong.”

The event will obey with social distancing rules, and there is a back-up plan if numbers get too big. I have a couple of mates going and will try to report back.

I don’t know how many times we have to say this. But to those that try to destroy us — You have picked on the wrong football club.
