I was fuming after that today. It was so frustrating. Yes blame the referee, blame Lyle Taylor, blame who you want, but we are a shower in front of goal.

Three goals in nine games. How hard can we make this for ourselves?

We were lucky again with the results, but as hard as it is to point any fingers, because they all gave everything, we failed miserably where and when it mattered. That game was so annoying, so Charlton.

For 95 minutes there was plenty of possession all over the pitch, some sharp passing, we got cross upon cross in, so many free-kicks, lots of the ball in their box, but just so little composure. Huge opportunity that.

For all the annoyance…. have I mentioned I’m annoyed, even more so after those other results. Yet, how inept were the referee and his linesmen? Never offside – when the ball is played lino for gods sake, and if one is a penalty ref, then so is the other.

Three games left, I need another drink.
