As we were

Our last two games, no hopes, and no points, so as we were then.
Positives to move on with? We didn’t lose to Millwall in injury time, and more seriously we played very well against Brentford. The absolute form team in this division who had been brushing teams aside pre and post lockdown.
I think we went too defensive in the 2nd half, but we scored in open play, big boost for Bonne, played some good stuff at times and got forward quickly and in numbers.
I’d be happy to see Williams, Field, Forster-Caskey and Doughty start on Saturday. Perhaps Doughty further forward. 4-4-2. Williams playing off Bonne.
Anyway, Bowyer will do what he will do, but with four to go each game just means more and more. Reading’s form since the restart is like many teams, hard to put a finger on. Stoke the latest team to suffer a big reverse after a huge win a few days before. Very helpful on the goal difference front though.
Andre Green will miss Saturday with a toe injury.
There was some non-news on our ownership today. The EFL have to make an announcement next week on Paul Elliott’s ownership and whether his so called consiortium are viable…. like the EFL know 🙉
Waiitng on that decision are Andrew Barclay and Peter Varney, unable to move until the riddle of ESI is resolved. Rich Cawley said that next week could be very, very significant.
More importantly is Saturday morning my time. Big cup of strong coffee, my iPad and a bag of nerves. COYR.
CA, we are in the same time-zone, so put a little something extra in, or with, your coffee, on Saturday morning and let’s go for it!!! COY “fffnn” Reds!
Why do we concede so many late goals which cost us points. Is it fitness/stamina or tactical.I think it is a bit of both. Bowyer this week has made positive comments on Hemed Green and McGeady all of them have failed to make worthwhile contributions to our cause, why does he do it.
Been a problem all season rierti. What’s happened to Ozturner?
