Cullen out until February

An ankle injury sustained in the game at home to Cardiff will keep Josh Cullen out for two months, possibly three, after a scan discovered damaged ligaments.

Cullen is pretty robust despite often leading the tackling stats during games, but did miss 10 weeks last season when he dislocated his shoulder. His injury is another huge blow to our already decimated squad.

Only Erhun Oztumer from the treatment room has any chance Of playing this Saturday and he is only rated at 50/50. Conor Gallagher is suspended leaving Pratley and Morgan as the only fit midfielders. Alfie Doughty is sure to get his chance.

Bow described the injuries as a crisis, I’d say it was more like a catastrophe.

  1. Hopefully decreases the chances of him being recalled in January and he’ll be back for the relegation battle in February.
