Family fortunes

I arrived at Gatwick this morning with the fam, a couple of large espresso’s and a bacon sandwich that I don’t need and then we’ll get a train down to Brighton as we gather up the CA clan for a couple of days.

We’ll hang at a hotel in The Lanes, and Brighton is semi-central to most, including my brother’s bulldog who will be traveling down on the train from Victoria in 1st class. Not unaccompanied I must add.

Couple of days of fun, a few sherberts, and plenty of Addicks chat.

Then on Friday morning we hire a car and drive to the pretty village of Crowmarsh Gifford, close to the River Thames near Wallingford in Oxfordshire to stay with my other-half’s brother and family where her clan will collect for fun, conversation and drinks and Charlton if anyone is prepared to listen to me!

I heard it’s been warm. I’ve brought me Bermuda shorts.
