Reeves signs

At last. More will he wont he’s than a vegetarian sat in front of bacon sandwich.
Ben Reeves, a long time target of Karl Robinson, signed a 2-year contract this afternoon. Reeves is an attacking midfielder with a good eye for goal and played 86 league games in 4-years for MK Dons scoring 24 goals. The Dorset born 25-year old has 2 Northern Ireland caps.
Reeves took his time to decide on moving to SE7, and who can blame him, which makes him signing a 2-year contract possibly a mutual decision. Reeves obviously has valued his summer as a free agent as he weighed up his options. Question is how fit he is after missing all of pre-season.
Reeves injury record is not the best, mostly hamstrung with hamstring injuries, but Robinson will know his recovery time and fitness levels well, but you would think that Saturday will come too soon and maybe he’ll make some sort of appearance at Exeter.
Welcome Ben.
In other transfer news, Gillingham are being persistent with Harry Lennon, although Robinson stresses that the young defender is not fit. I can see that one happening before the end of the window and I’d be very surprised if Tony Watt remains in his Thames view rental beyond September 1st with, according to Robinson, a whole host of clubs looking to take him off our hands.
