Steve Adams RIP
“Charlton are extremely saddened to report the death of academy coach Steve Adams following an accident on Sunday, at the age of 34.” (more)
What awful news. Steve coached the club’s academies U11 and U12 sides and was killed in a car accident on Seven Mile Lane near Wrotham Heath on Sunday. Steve was a teacher at Hayesbrook School in Tonbridge and lived in Paddock Wood. He was married with two young Children.
Just 34 years old with his whole life ahead of him. In his honour, the players will wear black armbands during tonight’s game against Bolton.
So sad, RIP Steve.
