MK Dons 1 Charlton Athletic 0

Improvement? Quicker out of the blocks? Didn’t lose 3-0? More possession? 3 shots on target? Ademola Lookman? Or according to the Interim Head Coach “We had the game in our command.”
Positives?
Let us not get into the rarefied air of Karel Fraeye’s tactical mind. Let us look at the facts.
Tonight’s game was against a team that will be a relegation rival, that’s if we can stay in touch. MK Dons had lost 7 of their last 9 games, and 5 of their last 6 at home. They hadn’t scored in 5 hours of football up until Dean Bowditch scored his first goal since the opening day of the season. And Churchy missed an absolute sitter the give the result a more realistic scoreline.
It was a very poor result. They could hide behind Middlesbrough and the players and Interim Head Coach did but no excuses tonight. Not fitness, finishing with 10 men, taking risks to get in opponent’s half, injuries, Watt apparently knackered. None at all.
This is 2 points from 36, no goals in 7.5 hours of football. The worst goal difference in the division. There was 8 minutes of injury time. Where was the pride? Where was the ability and inspiration from the touchline?
Fraeye talks as if he will be around a while, at least until after the international break. The toughen up (10 yellow cards in two games) and smile genius from Belgium’s Sunday League. Heaven help us.
Made in Charlton. Destroyed in Belgium.
Addick Bloggers at Stadium Franchise:
Relegation watch: Rotherham lost at Middlesbrough to a single goal, Bolton were beat 2-0 at Ipswich, Bristol City, who look like they can grab a result, beat Wolves. Huddersfield were just 6 minutes from snatching am impressive win at Reading and fortunately Forest may come and join us as after losing at Preston. 8 games without a win for Forest. Preston unbeaten in 5 without conceding.
We need a English manager bring back Alan Curbishley and 4 or 5 English experience player. Not kids
There is a lot I could say here, how I feel, about the owner, the direction OUR club is heading, even,on this supposed fan meeting with the CEO and Murray, then I realise I would be repeating what many have stated before me over the past couple of years or so.
I have supported OUR club for 65 years now,I am now 70, my Father – a docker, would take me whenever he went, I took my 3 kids, and they took theirs. We, as fans thought the dark days were leaving our home, the Valley, for that supermarket place near Croydon, we didnt wait 2 years to start to protest, we didnt have a fragmented opposition to that.
Many blogs I have read of late are saying the same thing, “We want our Charlton back”, personally I WANT OUR CHARLTON BACK, and so do many, many of the fans, some one needs to step up to the plate and get organising peaceful opposition against this chairman who bit by bit is destroying OUR club, talking to the CEO and Murray is only playing lip service, if the chairman cant be bothered to meet the fans then were wasting our time talking.
What were seeing now happening is killing OUR club, as surely as we saw it when we moved those years ago, we have a choice, do we stir again to fight for our beloved club, or do we shrink into the fog, do nothing, and wave goodbye.
A passionate plea TA. I say we bloody fight to get our community club back.
Please tell me how and I’ll do anything.
Shockin juss shockin, they can’t buy a goal for love nor money. Yeah but who owned our gaff last time ourn were relegated, oh I forgot it was an English Director who is still on the board.
