Kanye and Able
It’s been a little bit of a demoralizing day Charlton-wise, and I reckon the club sensed that. So, this early evening the club announced that Kanye Ramsay has signed a new four year contract.
This will take the 25-year old up to 2030, and once again gives the club protection and means that we at least keep the Hackney boy around for a while.

Three in, and three out permanently, with another couple out on loan. Still a bloated squad that has to see further exits.
The budget if not tight has to be managed responsibly with Squad Cost Rules (SCR) coming into effect. Those that bleat about us not spending millions need to remember that our revenues are easily in the lower quartile of the league.

I really enjoyed that. Throughly deserving of a point, and perhaps could even have snatched all three as we again finished the stronger of the two sides.
Some superb individual performances all across the pitch, but it was a stoic team showing that gave the noisy travelling Addicks something to be really proud off.

Kayne Ramsay signs from Harrogate on deadline day
Right back or wing back is an area we have really struggled with in recent season’s, so now we have another one.
23-year old Kayne Ramsay was the solitary addition to the Addicks’ squad on transfer deadline day. He signed on a permanent deal from Harrogate for what their manager Simon Weaver described as “a significant fee, a very good sum of money.”
