Where is Timothy Ouma?

Other than on injuries, Nathan Jones finds it hard to hide his feelings.

His comments on the lack of return of Timothy Ouma from international duty tells me that the Kenyan’s time at The Valley could be up.

Of course I mustn’t jump to conclusions, and I hope everything is fine with him personally, but Ouma has got previous for this. He didn’t return to Lech Poznań after an international break last November. He was expelled to the reserves by the Polish club after that.

Ouma started Kenya’s game on September 26th against Eritrea and then five days later was a late sub against Guinea.

Their final game was a friendly against Rwanda, but Ouma ducked out of it saying he was returning to his club early. That was five days ago and by all accounts he has yet to be seen.

This really is poor from the 22-year old, who has not looked good enough on the field from what we have seen so far, and he doesn’t look up to grade off the field either.

Ouma is on a season-long loan and has taken a much sought after squad place. A place I presume we can’t change until January?

We’ll watch this space, but I am getting Thomas Kaminski vibes from Jones.

Has Greg Docherty got a club yet?
