Nathan Asiimwe to Salford City

On loan.

Nathan Asiimwe has joined pre-season L2 promotion favourites Salford City on loan. Karl Robinson was given the boot in the summer and replaced by Peter Cklamovski, who has overseen three league defeats on the spin.

Asiimwe has a Charlton contract (I think) until next summer but with a year’s option, so a big season for the right wing back, who had noticeably built up his physicality. He played the full 90 minutes last week at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

This is Asiimwe’s third loan deal after making 35 appearances for AFC Wimbledon last season in L1.
