Ahadme leaves on loan

Gassan Ahadme has joined Sky Bet League One side Cambridge United on a season-long loan.

That signals a real opportunity for Ahadme, who impressed on loan at Cambridge when he was Ipswich, which has to be the main reason he appeared on our radar and why we subsequently spent a a £1 million on him, which I was always skeptical.

Incredibly that was a 4-year deal, so hopefully we can at least realize some value out of him if he plays regularly and does well under Neil Harris at Cambridge.
