Edwards suffers injury setback
Word had got out this week that Josh Edwards had suffered a setback in his injury return, and that was confirmed by Nathan Jones tonight.
Edwards had been seen in training, and it was even thought he was within weeks of a return, but stories of him having a breakdown now appear true.
It can be argued we’ve missed him more than any other injured player – Bell (twice), Burke (twice), Godden, Ramsey, Rankin-Costello, Kelman and Knibbs have suffered injuries this season, but left wing back has been a real problem, and remains so.
Dreadful news for the affable Scot (and us), who did really well in the opening 7 games.
Jones said the club will comment further, but our injury problems don’t get any better with namesake Lloyd leaving tonight’s game after rolling an ankle on Saturday and attempting to play through it.
We have really missed Edwards. Let’s hope that, for his sake, he can get over this setback and rejoin the squad sometime before the end of the season.

Look ,we are all worried about relegation,but we must stick together and support the team.
We cannot possibly attract some of the players we would like to recruit .the wages are astronomical,ridiculous but are what they are.Sheff Utd need to find £70k per week for Ros Barclays.and somebody needs to find £325000 per week for Raheem Sterling it’s all crazy and obscene.
No point moaning,but we have to deal with the reality of the situation and cut our cloth as best we can.
I have been following the Shirt,badge,et al for over seventy years,also both my mother and grandmother were supporters.
Now my kids and grandchildren are supporters,so not giving up now!
