My Top Five 2025 Favourite TV Shows

🔝5️⃣ A lot of planes meant a lot of TV Shows. Plenty of series watched, although many good, there wasn’t I felt a load that were distinguishable.

Five were still hard to pick, but I gave it a go. Below are My Five Favourite TV Shows from 2025 📺

1️⃣ Adolescence 👦🏼

This will walk away with most awards from 2025, and carried mine easily. Harrowing, heartfelt, bold, intense. A masterclass in storytelling with Stephen Graham perfection in his role, and young Owen Cooper beyond extraordinary in his first ever acting part. Ashley Walters and Erin Doherty were also brilliant. Sadly however this show was not about made up fiction, but real life.

2️⃣ This City Is Ours 💊

Gangs, drugs, rivals, love, family, betrayal, murder is everything you want from an edge of the chair drama. Liverpool’s answer to The Soprano’s. Great character acting with Sean Bean leading the way. I can’t wait for the second season.

3️⃣ White Lotus 3 🇹🇭

This one set in Thailand. Of course exquisitely written and performed in beautiful scenery. I can’t think of a TV show that builds tension like White Lotus. A great cast holidaying without a care in the world until a darker reality takes over.

4️⃣ Clarkson’s Farm 4 🐖

Jeremy Clarkson was back for an ever compelling spotlight on British farming. The cast ensemble is the secret here, although Clarkson comes out of it more human, but just as witty. He’s also opened a nation of urbanite’s eyes to the difficulties of farming.

5️⃣ Your Friends & Neighbors 🥷🏻

I really liked this show with John Hamm. Rich hedge fund manager gets fired and resorts to stealing from his own rich mates. It is gripping and clever and offers up a subtle tension. Olivia Munn was stunning in it too.
