Rock tour

Billie Eilish did 3 cities this week. Pah, I put two fingers up at that kind of sluggish convention. Me, mind you will have a week of a true rock ‘n roll tour.

Miami, Sarasota, Las Vegas, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Napa Valley. 7 cities, 7 days. The life of a rock star travelling salesman.

I’m not really selling much, or singing anywhere live, but there is plenty of trading and transactions in four wall meeting rooms. My carbon footprint won’t be anything to be proud off, nor my bank balance after just ten hours in Las Vegas on Monday evening / Tuesday early morning.

Yesterday we flew into the mile high city of Denver for lunch and a couple of meetings and last night got on another flight to the Californian coastal city of Newport Beach.

We will venture into Los Angeles later, but I try to avoid downtown LA like the plague, and most of our stuff will be done out here in Newport Beach and up the road in Irvine, a bit more of a manufactured city known as a tech hub for Southern California.

Tomorrow it’s San Francisco and then a rewarding Friday with some good people in Napa Valley. I love Napa, one of my happy places.

I am hoping to be able to watch the Sheffield Wednesday game on the plane. I’m flying home on Saturday morning and hoping the WiFi will work. I think that must be getting close to a sell-out in SE7 on Saturday as well.

Enjoy your trip CA and hope it ends well on the plane home with Charlton scoring at least more than one goal! 🙂
