No Costa and no Bluewater

Nathan Jones has always been good for a quote – whether unhinged, philosophical or funny.

Jones was in good spirits last night in West Sussex, weren’t we all, but there was a serious undertone to his message. He is right, this is it.

It is still pretty incredulous to how we got here. That defeat at home to Crawley on one hand feels like the other day, but on the other it was a lifetime ago.

I think we are all scratching our heads, but the fact is we are here sat in 4th place with 10 games to go.

Jones reminds us constantly that we are no where near perfect, and there is plenty of room for improvement especially in attacking situations, but belief and momentum can take you a long way.

What with the U21’s continuing to impress and an U17 side made up of mostly first year scholars beating Man U to get to the final of the Premier League Cup made up entirely of Category 1 academies plus a couple of guest clubs, such as us, there is a real good feel factor around the club at the moment.

I feel it even over here. Eight (and a bit) weeks to be a hero.
