Terry Taylor loaned out
Terry Taylor has moved to fellow L1 club Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season.
This comes as no surprise and I wish him well.
Taylor may still find a home at The Valley, he has another 18 months left on his contract, but it looks unlikely. Taylor joins a long recent list of heralded signings, mostly by Andy Scott, who’s potential has failed to materialize.
Taylor has always come across well, and I think he’s been a positive influence within the squad, but has struggled with injuries. Even recently the 23-year old managed to play his way into the team but then got another niggle and hasn’t been seen in a match day squad since.
We’ll see how it works out for him under Kevin Nolan at the Cobblers, although for us I think it leaves us exposed if we lose Coventry or Docherty.
Don’t worry as Jones has one of his favourite useless old Luton boy’s A Campbell to fill the gap if Coventry gets injured or gets a ban! Who surpposingly is at Championship level 🙂
Taylor should do well and hopefully he can keep injury free
