Bob Miller RIP
I have been meaning to put together a couple of paragraphs remembering Bob, who recently passed following a long battle with cancer.
Bob lived in the beautiful town of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada and supported the Addicks since the early 80’s. He actually established the first overseas supporters club in Hamilton and managed to cajole 14 other members, which told me what a great salesman Bob was. That number diminished over the years along with Charlton’s fortunes but not Bob, who remained an ardent fan to the end.
Bob always wanted to help, and was never short of ideas to grow the Addicks fanbase overseas. He was very helpful to Clare, who set up the current North American Addicks a couple of years back and remained a committed Addick following them closely.
Bob and I never actually met, although we tried to co-ordinate Valley trips a few times, but never made it happen. We were regular email pals, and I will miss his missives both on there and on this Blog.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Sleep well Bob and wear that red and white scarf with pride.

That’s a great shame – he often used to post comments on my blog – although it was a while ago and not necessarily complimentary! – but that’s fine – being passionate is what we hold dearest – RIP Bob
Met him in Toronto many years ago, a true Addick.
RIP Bob
RIP Bob. We used to regularly comment on Ken’s old forum and of course our old friend Ketts.. He disagreed with me most of the time. I think I met him at a match once too. Rest easy.
