Too soon?

There’s a saying that after you leave somewhere you can go back too soon.

7 weeks after leaving the island of Bermuda I was back this week and it probably was a little soon.

Unexpectedly nothing had changed and I bumped into a couple of people who thought I’d been away on holiday. In August the island clears, so it’s not unusual to not see many people during the height of the summer and school holidays.

It was nice to be back, and even though I was at a conference for the majority of the week, that also enabled me to see people I probably wouldn’t have seen ordinarily.

Early morning’s and late night’s mean I am craving my bed tonight but I still have another flight to take before I will be back in Sarasota.
